I didn’t get much sleep after the run since we didn’t get back until pretty late and my internal clock woke me up at the time I was used to getting up. I found myself in the Alpha’s office out of habit and decided that it wouldn’t hurt if I checked the emails one last time, just to make sure there wasn’t anything that I was working on that I forgot to wrap up before letting Christian take the title of Alpha.
When I pulled up the packhouse’s email, I noticed that there were a few emails addressed to Christian, congratulating him on becoming Alpha, but there was also one that was addressed to me.
