Juliet turned to face Madelyn and asked, "Aren't you going to say anything? You just sit here and keep quiet."
Madelyn sighed and stood up from her dinner chair. She replied, "I am tired, Juliet, and I am not interested in the new foreigner. Besides, you already have a mate, and I am still single and haven't found mine yet. Don't you think I should be more concerned about finding my own mate than worrying about Henry's duties?"
"He's the Alpha, and Dad is there to assist him, so I don't care about the new foreigners—not even the Alpha's daughter among them." Madelyn walked away from the dining room in her long white gown, sweeping the ground as she exited the palace hall. Juliet stood speechless in the dining room, staring at her twin sister as she watched her walk away.
"Hmm..." Juliet gritted her teeth.
She murmured, "I never knew Madelyn was jealous of me because I found my mate first, who cares about the new foreigners anyway? If it weren't for the fact that that young lady is very beautiful and fair too, then most of us here..."
"I will deal with her later." Juliet stepped away from her dinner chair, having been standing for some time.
She walked out and went upstairs to her room to take a bath and prepare herself to go see her mate.
She knew that her mother had warned her and Madelyn not to leave the house, but she really wanted to go out to see her mate.

Henry arrived at the refugee house in his car. He parked his black vehicle and stepped out, staring ahead at the three mighty buildings.
He walked toward the torturing house, a place used to discipline stubborn foreigners who refused to submit as slaves in their pack and be at the bottom of the hierarchy.
Being born as an Omega in the Western Wood Pack also held a level of authority over the foreigners, as those who wanted to live peacefully and earn a living in the Western Wood Pack had to work in shops, pack houses, and serve the pack members.
Every member of the Western Wood Pack had their names registered, and the Alpha also registered the names of the new foreigners. Only the old foreigners who had earned their freedom by working with loyalty in the pack were granted release, allowing them to live freely in the pack house, have an apartment there, and potentially marry any member of the Western Wood Pack.
However, those who couldn't pass the test of working with loyalty and serving their masters, who were pure-blooded members of the Western Wood Pack, were subjected to slavery.
Henry arrived at the front of the torturing house, and the stationed guards welcomed him inside.
"Welcome, Alpha Henry," the guards bowed as he walked into the torturing hall.
"Where is the new foreigner who dared to strangle the neck of her co-inmate?" Henry asked in a mild tone.
He was neither angry nor particularly concerned about the fact that Camila could be dangerous.
It was already afternoon by the time he arrived at the Western Wood Torturing House, and the guards on duty took him to the cage room where Camila had been locked up.
"Should I open the cage door, Alpha Henry?" the guard who accompanied Henry to see Camila asked.
"Yes, open it," Henry replied. He continued to watch Camila, who was sleeping peacefully on the ground, oblivious to the fact that someone had entered her cage room.
Hearing the sound of the door being pulled open, Camila's eyes fluttered open, and she saw the guard who had walked into her prison.
"Should I release her wrists, Alpha? The chains strapped around her wrists prevent her from using her Alpha magic, and she will be weak and submissive as long as those cold metals are still on her," the guard informed Henry.
"Hmm..." Henry contemplated whether to order the guard to remove the cold metals that were absorbing Camila's Alpha energy.
The metals were used to control rogues, and he knew that if his father or sister saw the metals around Camila's wrists, they would assume she was dangerous, which was why the metals were bound to her.
"Leave it, and bring her out. First, where's the key to unlock the chains?" Alpha Henry asked. The guard gently tapped Camila on the shoulder to wake her up.
The guard handed the key to Henry.
He ordered the guard, "Loosen the chain but don’t remove the metals."
The chains were cut off from Camila's wrists, and she blinked awake to find Henry staring blankly at her.
Their eyes met, and Henry didn’t avert his gaze.
Camila noticed that the guard who had released her wrists only took away the chains, but the handcuffs remained strapped to her separate hands like bangles that couldn’t be removed.
Camila opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out.
"Come with me," Henry said to Camila, and she immediately looked away from the cage room.
Camila wondered where Henry was taking her without asking her questions related to why she was locked up. She followed him into the hall, still wondering where they were headed.
"Leave us, and send for the servants to bring her food here," Henry dismissed the guards who were with him, and they obeyed without asking any questions.
Camila wondered what Henry was up to, now that he was alone with her. She was unable to communicate with her wolf and felt more human than ever. She wondered what kind of metal was strapped around her wrists, preventing her from mentally communicating with Ivy, her wolf.
Henry walked around Camila in circles and stopped in front of her, just an inch away from her lips.
He inhaled her sweet scent, and he could see her ears twitching in high alert, meaning she was wondering what he was about to do.
"What made you want to kill a member of your father's pack last night? Are you hiding a secret that you don't want us to be aware of?" Henry asked.
He stood in front of Camila and posed the question, locking eyes with her blue gaze.
Camila opened her mouth to speak, but her voice was barely audible, as her throat was dry.
She wanted water or any liquid to recharge her strength.
She couldn’t ask Henry for water, as she remembered the Alpha's warning that foreigners were to remain as servants in their pack, and any foreigner found raising his or her head proudly above any member of the Western Wood Pack would be punished.
Camila looked down, unable to speak as she felt she could not send the Alpha's son on an errand.
"Can't you speak? Don't you know that I am the Alpha and the new leader here? I can order my guards to kill you or have you punished for keeping me waiting. I do not repeat my questions, and don’t pretend to be deaf with me," Henry sneered, causing Camila to shiver.
She shook her head and tried to mumble out a word, but her throat hurt.
She tried to gather her saliva and managed to respond, "Water..."
"Are you sending me on an errand to get you water so that you can escape?"
"No," Camila shook her head and whispered again. She was still weak, and getting a glass of water would help her feel better, as the cold metals around her wrists were draining her energy.
Even her unborn babies, still in her womb, were feeding off her remaining strength.
"Hmm, I already sent the guards to get you something to eat. Come sit down here first." Henry pointed to the chair that Camila had sat on before the previous night. Despite her fear, she walked up to the chair and sat down, feeling that the handsome black man in front of her wouldn't hurt her.
