The following morning, Camila woke up early—at 4 a.m.—and resumed her duties in the Alpha's mansion.
Being a she-wolf, she could see in the dark and went about her morning tasks alongside the other four maids.
Camila noticed that the other maids stared at her with irritation, but she didn’t blame them, knowing she was an intruder in their pack.
She swept the compound and tidied up the house's front to make it look neat.
By 5 a.m., Camila had finished mopping the entire area assigned to her and keeping it clean.
Though she was of Alpha blood, the cold metals around her wrists prevented her from using her Alpha powers. Nonetheless, she worked much faster than the other four maids.
Camila could hear the whispers of the four maids who were completing their own tasks as they observed her. They were mumbling curses under their breath, but she ignored them, aware that they were jealous of her.
After finishing all her duties, only the cleaning of the Alpha's rooms remained.
Camila didn’t know if she should wait for the Alpha and his family to leave first. She remembered that in her father's mansion, the maids usually arrived on time and would clean her room while she was still sleeping in bed. They wouldn’t let that stop them from focusing on their duties and arranging her bed while sweeping and mopping to keep everything neat.
Camila stood in front of one of the room doors. She had cleaned all the rooms in the mansion and was nervous about entering this one.
She saw the name on the door: "Princess Juliet's Room."
Camila gulped hard and finally pushed the door open gently. She noticed another maid go into the second room ahead of her, which she assumed was the second princess's room.
Camila carefully entered the room, trying not to wake the princess.
Princess Juliet was sleeping on the bed, and the sweet blossom scent that filled the air brought a sense of calm.
Suddenly, Juliet stood up from the bed in a dreamy state and walked speedily toward Camila. Camila freaked out as Juliet grabbed her tightly by the arms, wanting to bite her neck like a rogue.
"Ahh!" Camila screamed, and Juliet's eyes flew open, realizing that the delicious "meat" she was holding was actually a she-wolf. Her eyes burned red at Camila—a secret trait that even Henry wasn't aware of.
Juliet often went hunting like a rogue, killing any tasty animals that pleased her senses and soothed her throat with their delicious scent.
Her eyes narrowed, burning with intensity as she regarded Camila.
"What are you doing in here? Who gave you permission to enter my room? Get out!" Juliet's eyes burned even redder as she gripped Camila's neck, choking her in an attempt to intimidate her.
Juliet hated the beautiful she-wolf in front of her, remembering that Henry had warned her to leave the innocent girl alone.
Juliet wasn’t stupid; she knew her older brother had a soft spot for Camila.
She opened her room door and pushed Camila away. She couldn’t believe that Camila’s scent had awakened her rogue instincts and caused her to lose control.
"Get out! And if you dare say anything nonsense to my older brother, I will kill you!" Juliet pushed Camila out, and Camila gasped for breath, stumbling against the corridor wall. As Camila stepped out, she found herself face-to-face with Henry, who had just come down from his room above and was leaving the mansion for his usual early morning training.
Camila immediately looked down as Henry's gaze fell on her. Nervously, she greeted him, "Good morning, sir."
Henry glanced at the room Camila had just come from and recognized it as Juliet's room.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly, the sweet blossom scent still lingering in the air.
"I... I came to clean the rooms," Camila said, avoiding eye contact.
Henry surveyed Camila and noticed that she wasn’t holding a mop, bucket, or broom. He asked, "Where are the things you were supposed to use to tidy up the house? And why do you smell so bad? Haven't you taken a bath today? Raise your head when I speak to you; answer me while looking at me."
Henry's tone made Camila shiver as she looked up at him.
"I haven’t taken my bath yet. I thought I would clean the house first."
"Next time, take your bath first; you smell bad, and your scent isn't pleasant. It could trigger a wrong reaction," Henry warned her, though he knew deep down that wasn’t exactly what he meant, as Camila's natural scent was making him feel aroused.
He could hear her heart beating loudly in her chest and asked, "Where are your cleaning supplies?"
Camila suddenly remembered that she had forgotten her supplies in Juliet's room. Just then, Juliet pulled her door open and yelled, "Where is that stupid maid? Let her come and carry all this nonsense that she left in my—Oh! There she is. Come here, miss! Go get that long broom and mop you left in my room right now!" Juliet ordered Camila, avoiding looking at her older brother.
Henry walked away after seeing that Camila had peacefully left Juliet's room. He didn’t have time to ask his sister anything, and Juliet was nervous, worried that her brother wouldn’t ask her why she had strangled Camila a few minutes ago. She sighed and walked back into her room.

Camila moved on to clean the next room upstairs, as she wasn’t responsible for cleaning the Alpha King and his wife’s quarters. She went up to the third floor and made her way into the room.
Camila was awestruck by the room’s decor. She realized she was in a man's room and assumed it belonged to Henry as she examined the elegant sitting room.
"Wow, so he even has a sitting room of his own too?" Camila thought as she walked around. She dropped the mop and bucket, taking instead her broom and long sweeping brush to remove cobwebs.
Camila entered the washroom first and took in the sight of the sparkling white bathroom, noting that the dirty linens were kept in a wash bin.
After cleaning the bathroom, she heard the sound of someone stepping into the sitting room, but she was too focused on her work to pay attention.
Camila wondered who was there but continued cleaning to ensure everything looked neat.
"The Alpha's mansion is beautiful," Camila whispered to herself. Suddenly, she began singing sweetly in the bathroom.
Henry froze when he heard the melodic voice filling his sitting room. He locked the sitting room entrance door, knowing someone was in his bathroom. Seeing the cleaning supplies, he assumed it was the new maid.
Henry knew that singing was prohibited in their pack, as the sounds were considered displeasing to their ears and could potentially summon witches and wizards to attack them or call on unknown forces.
Without wasting any time, Henry entered the bathroom and saw Camila standing naked under the shower, having stripped off all her clothes to bathe.
Camila was singing, lost in the moment, remembering how she often sang while bathing at home. She missed the feel of warm water running down her body, and knowing that the washroom had a shower was a treat compared to her maid's bathroom, which only had a tap and a bucket for bathing.
Feeling the urge for a quick clean-up, Camila hurriedly stripped off her clothes and stood under the shower, turning it on without considering the possibility of being caught.
Henry's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets as he witnessed how stunning Camila's body was.
She turned to face him in fear as she heard the bathroom door open and close, and their gazes met.
