I jumped, actually jumped in Dario's arms to a gunshot from the movie ON MY LAPTOP. Nearly let out a squeal as well. I’m so very brave, aren’t I? How the hell would I be able to date him?
Dario chuckled and held me closer. “I’ve got you. I’m never letting you go.”
“That sounds like more of a threat than someone breaking in.” I mumbled into his chest before finally giving in and wrapping my arms around him.
He just squeezed me again as he kissed the top of my head. I felt a slight shift to his posture then and was confused until he spoke. “I’ve never done that before.”
“What? Not shoot someone after you asked them to be in a relationship with you?”
“Kissed a woman on the head … all of that.”
