Taken aback, Lewis blinked at Seb. “What do you mean ‘sudden’?” he asked, trying to sound lighthearted. “I’ve always been concerned for her.”
When Seb only raised an eyebrow at that, Lewis chucked.
“All right, maybe not always. But it is worrying when someone who’s been following me around is suddenly blind to my existence.”
“She hasn’t been ‘following you around.’”
“Oh, you know what I mean. So…? What’s the sitch?”
Once more in a brooding mood, Seb shrugged. “I’d like to know too.”
