I was very reluctant about seeing Brady again. I had thought about our last encounter many times while I was being held captive, and I was not okay with the way he treated me. That type of behavior was the exact reason why I wanted to get to know both of my mates before I chose one or the other.
Brady showed me his violent and disrespectful side, and that was a real eye opener. I was still a little in disbelief that Brady out of everybody I had ever known would hurt me that way. After years of being doted on by him, it was the first time he had ever put his hands on me in such a disrespectful way, and I couldn't just look past it.
