The past few weeks flew by fast. It was fun training with Ulric, and I could tell how much stronger, faster I was getting. I pretty much had him to the point where he had to concentrate and pay attention while we fought now, and I still won half the time. He assured me that he was raised side by side with Derrick, the Alpha’s son of his first pack, and had been raised to fight like an Alpha. So I figured even though he didn’t have the boost of strength I did from being Beta, that if I could beat him I’d probably hold myself very well against Penny now.
