Ulric pov
I woke up the next morning to an empty bed, the sun shining down on me from the window. Confused, I sat up, rubbing my eyes as I searched for my phone. What time was it? Why was the sun out? Did I sleep in? I couldn’t honestly remember the first time I’ve ever slept in or didn’t have any nightmares. Last night was the best sleep I’ve ever had, and it was the best night I’ve ever had as well.
Memories of last night flooded my mind and I couldn’t help but lay back down and smile, staring up at the ceiling. ‘Did that really happen?’ I asked with wonder, grinning ear to ear.
Leon barked at me, wagging his tail. ‘Our mate loves us!’ He said happily. I chuckled at him, standing up and stretching. ‘She is so bold and amazing.’ He said with wonder.
