The bar was buzzing with activity and the warmth surrounded me as I stepped inside. It was a bit chilly outside, so it was nice to shake off the cold. I spotted Naomi, Mandy, Vanessa, and Sophia sitting by our usual table. It was great to see them, but I hadn’t been to a girl's night since they had broken into my apartment, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. But I wasn’t alone anymore. I was with Jaden and the kids. I felt safer and more at home with them. I shook my head as I headed over to the table. Naomi spotted me and her eyes lit up as she smiled.
