“And where do you think you are going?” my dad asked as I headed out with my small case
“Away for Easter break.” I said blankly
“And what you don’t think you should have told me this?” He said annoyed
“Nope! You don’t care what I do any other time, why would it be different this time?” I said shrugging
“Drop the attitude Ruby.” He snapped
“I will drop the attitude when you start acting like a proper father and drop that b***h that is using you…” I hissed at him
He went to say something but I never gave him the chance to, instead I headed for the door walking out, my father calling me back but I ignored him. Cole was waiting outside for me, his family drove up early this morning to the lake house, Cole and I following up behind them.
