Thankfully, this was a town and not a normal pack house. There wasn’t much for me to do. I am an alpha now, but I didn’t run a pack in the full sense of the word. In the morning, the leader and his wife came to collect me, and we went to see the old woman’s lawyers first.
I had a mountain of paperwork to sign, and they made sure I understood everything clearly. Once we were done there, we went to city hall where we spent the entire day going through everything that I was involved in and had to take care of, as well as everything everyone else would take care of.
I could see that some of the people weren’t happy about the current situation and I wondered if I should speak to the people of the town. The leader and his wife agreed that it would be a good idea for me to just settle
