Andy’s Fear

2016 Words
A shiver ran down Andy's back as his lips moved with Isaac, he parts his lips and let Isaac's tongue in. He doesn't feel himself being moved until he was pressed against the wall. The kiss was hot and passionate, Isaac pressing up against him, licking into his mouth like he wanted to memorize Andy's taste. Andy pulls back for air, his head falling against the wall as Isaac trailed kisses down his neck, kissing, nipping and sucking, leaving love bites in his wake. "Isaac..." Andy gasped, arching closed to the prince, wanting and needing more. They however, pull apart when there was a loud knock on the door. Andy's eyes widened and he let out a loud gasp, his legs falling from Isaac's waist. The person knocked again and this time Isaac pulls back, careful not to drop Andy. Andy licked his lips and ran his fingers through his hair, trying to make himself look presentable and it minutes away from being ravished by a sexy man. Isaac adjust himself in his pants and with a wink at Andy, pulls open the door. The left over s****l tension falls away when Andy sees the Queen standing there. She had on a white gown and a huge burgundy bathrobe, her hair pulled into a messy bun at the top of her head. She smiles widely when she sees Andy and made a beeline for him. "Andy! Darling! It's so nice to see you." She says before pulling him in for a hug. Andy immediately hugged her back and it took him a few seconds to realize who exactly he was hugging. He was hugging the queen like she was a long lost friend. Then again, maybe she had been in his last life. Who knows? "Mum, I'm your son." The queen pulls back and rolled her eyes at Isaac who had comes to stand beside Andy. "You are my son but you don't make me wonderful treats. Do you now?" "But I do make a mean stir fry. You said so." Isaac crosses his arms and stared at his mother. Andy couldn't help but giggle at the pair, they were fun to watch and the queen reminds him of his own mother. "Fine. You are both wonderful." The queen says with a laugh. "Thank you, Your Highness." "Oh stop that. You are a friend of my son, call me Karen." Andy's mouthbwent slack, his jaw dropping. He looked at the queen and at Isaac. "Sorry?" "Karen. Try calling me Karen." He queen says. Andy nervously scratched the side of his neck and does as she asked. "K-Karen." Isaac cheered and the Queen gives Andy another hug. "Good. Now where are my donuts? I have a couple things to sort through and I've been waiting all day." "I kept it in the kitchen." Isaac gestured. The Queen gives Andy a small pat on the arm before following her son out the door. Andy let out a breath he hadn't known he was holding. What even was his life? He was on first name basis with the Queen of his country and he just made out with... Andy raised a hand to his lip, tracing it. He could still feel the soft press of Isaac's lips against his own. Was he out of his f*****g mind? Andy began to pace, both hands in his hair, holding tight. He knew his feelings for Isaac and he had heard Isaac talk about his feelings but now it was all rushing back to him. He's scared and at the same time happy. The last thing he needs is for him to be heart broken. It just doesn't make sense. He just keeps repeating the same thing in his head. A few minutes ago he was happy and now his fears were crawling back in like ants to sugar. "Hey." Isaac said once he made his way back to the room, closing the door beside him. "I actually do have to go." Isaac walks up to Andy and took his hand in his, his thumb rubbing Andy's hand slowly. "I can take you home." Andy shook his head. "No. It's okay, I'll just take a cab." "Andy..." "Please..." Andy said, his voice shaking. Isaac takes one look at the baker and nods. "I'll get a driver to take you home. Cabs don't come to this side of town." Isaac said and Andy nods. Isaac still held onto Andy as he led him out of the room and towards the underground garage. When they get there, there's a man at wind beside a black Camaro "James will take you home. My mum said I should tell you good night on her behalf." Isaac said. "I... have a good night too, Andy." Isaac takes a step back from Andy, his hand falling free. He didn't want to overwhelm Andy, he didn't want him to regret the kiss. He hadn't really said anything in reply to Isaac's words, besides the kiss. So he was threading on thin ice. He was taking aback when Andy grabbed his hand, and pulls Isaac down by the collar and pressed his lips to the prince' in a chaste kiss. — Andy closed the door behind him and toes off his shoes before walking into the house. It was a bit past eleven but yet his mother was up and watching reruns of Golden Girls, a large bowl of low fat yogurt and fruit on her lap. "Lovely, is that you?" Angela calls out, her eyes still trained on the television. "Mum what if it had been a killer? You can't just watch tv and hope it's me at the door." Andy said as he walked into the room, he cuddled up to his mother, his arms wrapped around her. "But my mother's instinct told me it was you." Angela laughs and Andy pouts, rubbing his face agains the soft material of his mother's robe. "You're not funny, mum." Angela scoffed. "I'm plenty funny." She said. "Are you gonna tell me where you're coming from?" "The palace." Angela jerks in his arms as she turned to stare at her son. She gently placed the tray of yogurt on the table and smacked him on the shoulder. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack? You can't just say you went to the palace like it's something we do everyday." "And I kissed Isaac and got a hug from Karen." Andy went on with a sigh. "Who's Karen?" "Isaac's Mum." Andy replies. Angela smacked her son a few more times on the shoulder. "You're calling the Queen Karen? You're on first name basis now?" "She told me to, Mum." Andy sits up. "Stop hitting me." "Fine! Let's skip the part where you're on first name basis with the Queen and focus on kissing your Prince Charming." "It was everything, Mum." "Then why do you look and sound that way, lovely? I thought you liked him too." "I do. I feel so much that it scares me sometimes. The thing is sometimes I feel ready to face the world with Isaac by my side and then I remember he has to rule a country and I'd have to help and be by his side.... and that scares me so f*****g much, Mum." Angela wraps her arms around her son and pinched him a little. "Mind your language." She said and Andy sighs. "It's because it's still early on. When you fall in love with someone you'd want to be with the person all the time, you'd want to help and you'd even feel strong enough to do so. Being in a relationship is beautiful and like life it has its ups and down but that shouldn't scare you. All that should matter to you are the people who are the most important, the man you love, family and friends." "Was that how it was with dad?" Andy asked. Angela shifts a bit and hummed. "Besides your dad being a piece of s**t towards the end of our marriage, he had been so good. Everyday with him was exciting and knowing I had him made everything okay, made all the struggles I had back then seem little." Martin Watford had left Andy's life when he was ten. He had packed up his stuff in the middle of the night and had left before Angela or Andy woke up. All he left behind were the signed divorce papers and a note saying not to call. This was one of the things that freightened Andy. He knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted a husband, a home and kids but his biggest fear was waking up one morning and realize his husband was gone. "That's how love is. Lovely, don't think about it too much and go with your heart, you'll know if he's the right one." Angela said, her pointer finger pressed against Andy's shirt, right on his heart. "Thank you, Mum." "Love you too, Lovely." Andy pressed a kiss to his mother's cheeks before getting up from the sofa. He made his way to his room, had a quick shower and slid into his pajamas, his wet hair falling into his face, making him huff. He falls into the bed and reached for his phone, he unlocks it and searched for Isaac's contact. He debated calling or texting. But after tonight, he wanted to hear Isaac's voice even if they don't talk about themselves. He hits call. Issac picks up after a couple of rings. "Baby..." Andy smiles at the words. He hadn't been expecting Isaac to say that but the term of endearment made Andy giddy. "Isaac i-" "I am so sorry. I pushed so much on you and expected a quick reply. I wasn't thinking, I am so sorry." Andy shook his head as he stared at the ceiling. He wished he was on Isaac's bed so he could see the sky again. "I like you a lot, Isaac. Ever since you made your way into my life with your awful disguise I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I know you are going to be King soon and I thought i could say yes to you regardless of you leading a country but I'm not so sure any more." "Why we don't we try then? Let's try and see where this takes us because, Andy, I see you in my future." Andy wanted to ask Isaac what made him so sure . He wanted to ask Isaac what was it about him. "I hope I am not scaring you. It's just... I've been thinking about this a lot." "Three dates and a kiss." Andy said after a few seconds of silence. "We'll go on three dates and if I'm sure, I'll kiss you." "Anything for you." Isaac said. "How does Thursday sound?" "Not Friday?" Andy asked with a small smile, his free hand playing with the hem of his night shirt. "Fridays are so filled with people. Everywhere would be crowded. I kinda want you all to myself, no extra eyes, Just us having a good time." Isaac says with a soft laugh. "You really are Prince Charming." Andy turns to his side, his phone cradled between his hand and his ear. "I'm not but I will try to be for you. You deserve the world." Andy falls silent at that. This wasn't the first time Isaac had said this to him and Andy knows what he deserves but hearing it from someone else and knowing someone else besides himself and his mother thinks and feels the same way, makes him so happy. "Andy.... are you asleep?" Isaac asks and Andy doesn't reply, he just listens. After a while Isaac speaks again. "Good night, angel. Thank you for giving me a chance, I'll try my best to show you just how wonderful you are. Sweet dreams, lovely." Andy doesn't even realize he was crying until he feel it run down the side of his nose and onto the bed. His mother has been right, sometimes you just know.
