The following morning, Abby woke up at around nine in the morning. She was exhausted from the previous night of staying up late and watching movies with Jake’s family. She quickly went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and freshen up before she joined the rest of the family for breakfast.
"Good morning, Miss Sleeping Beauty. Jake had already left for the gym, on the other hand; you can join him if you like, since you two always practice together." Tricia suggested it, and she declined the offer.
"No, I’m good; I am in my weekend resting era, and I want to take that opportunity."
"Okay, y’all slept late last night. Why don’t you join me in the kitchen? I gave my chef the weekend off, and I have to do this by myself now."
