Chiara When I open my eyes again, the world is quiet. Even the beeping of the monitors is gone. It soon becomes clear that it is nighttime as well. The room is dark, blanketed in a cozy black that shadows the corners of the room. But he is still visible in the darkness. My eyes find him immediately, like they had known all along where to look.
