“Did you find the book you are looking for?” I heard this weird teacher asks

“My original plan was to borrow the book, but the librarian said that visitor students from other country or region cannot borrow the book and bring it outside the library. But we can borrow it if we’ll only read it inside the library. That is what their rules is. To avoid bringing the book home,” she continued,
