The doors closed behind Damon and I knew that he was hurting; it pained me to see him that way. He was like a second dad to me, when my father and mother were out of town on business he would take care of us. Gale and me used to call him uncle but grew out of that, as we became Alphas and when he left Alice and James with us. They were inseparable back then stuck to each other wherever Alice went, James followed. Damon told us stories about him and my dad and the troubles they got into.
