‘Whose Cassidy?’ Janet asked in confusion.
‘My brother’s girlfriend’ I replied, ‘well fiancée now’ I corrected myself, ‘they got engaged a few months ago. You wouldn’t think that their entire relationship started with a deal to help her date me’ I added with a chuckle.
Janet’s brow creased as she stared at me incredulously, ‘sorry?’ she muttered, ‘your brother agreed to help his now fiancée to try and get you to date her? What the hell is wrong with your family?’
I laughed loudly, I couldn’t help it, she looked so damn horrified, ‘I think he always had a thing for her’ I said smiling happily, ‘but she thought I was cute, and I mean, who can blame her’ I added, waving a hand down my front, earning myself a slap across the shoulder.
