It’s funny how quickly they forget who I am.
A couple of months as a human, seeing me eat bread and love on my human, and they’ve forgotten how I’ve climbed to the top, how I’ve killed everyone to get to where I am. I’ve dealt with far worse. I’ve dealt with Alphas, my own family that tried to kill me, rivals packs that were willing to die just to stop me.
And I am still standing.
Still, I am the best.
Untouchable.
Did they really think going against me was smart? That going after the only person I’ve ever loved would be easy? Did they think I’d simply let them?
No.
Absolutely not.
