“What do we need to do” she asked. “Well I need to get some others in here to help move thebabies out first so they don’t get hurt. The doctors have warmers waiting for them until we can get you out and straight. Will that be ok” I asked before I got anyone ready to come inside. “OK. But please only those you trust with your life” she said warning me. “I understand. Only those that I had trusted with Zillow will come in then. You will see He loves everyone that will enter this door” I promised while sending a link to my parents, grandparents, Nathan, zade Gus, Brian and Marcus.

“Only those that have been with Zillow are allowed inside of here. I need you all to very easily come inside to help get the

babies out” I explained by link. A few seconds later a soft knock was heard on the door. “It’s OK girl. It is my grandmother first.” I told her. “OK. And by the way my name is Agatha” she said.

My grandmother opened the door carefully as she stepped inside. “Agatha, what in the world old girl, I didn’t realize that it was you” my grandmother said out loud as she entered. “You know her” I asked. “Yes Dream. I’ve known her since she was born into out world. She too is an original. How on earth were they able to keep her” she asked and then she saw the shackles. Tears came to her eyes as she looked at her beautiful old friend. Agatha began making the noise again. I listened as my grandmother hummed it

with her.

“You know that song?” I asked. “Ive known it for as long as I can remember. It is her own special song and call for her children. “ she explained. The dragon just purred as my grandmother rubbed her head. “ok we have to get these babies out to the vet. Would you like to stay here with her and help her to get out. I can help with the babies if you do” I asked my grandmother. “Agatha what do you think old girl, do you want me to stay here with you and Dream take your children with them. I will get you out isafe. “ she told the dragon. Agatha rubbed her head against my grandmother wanting her to stay Instead of me.

I called for Nathan and the others in to help me pick all of them up and get them out into the warmers. We carefully loaded them into our arms and took them out to the waiting vets. After they were secure in the warmers I linked my grandmother she could bring out Agatha. We all stepped back to give them room and we waited holding our breath.The trailer began to rock a little. Then a little more. Then Agatha’s tail popped out of the back doors, then a foot, and another foot. A few seconds later she and my grandmother both emerged from the trailer. The pack members that were around stopped to stare at the marvelous creature. The majority

of 5hem had never seen one before Zillow arrived and he was nothing in comparison to a fully grown dragon. Agatha took a moment to stretch before seeking me and her babies out. She purred like a kitten when she saw that all of them were indeed safe and warm just as I promised.

The vet walked over to us “We have to sedate her so we can get her ready for surgery. The longer those shackles stay embedded

into her the worse it will be to remove them. And before you ask no we cannot remove them with her awake. The pain would be unbearable not to mention the safety risk to all of my staff if we hurt her” he explained. I looked at my grandmother “Can you tell her please ‘ I asked begging not wanting to be the bad person. My grandmother laughed and nodded her head. “Where are you going to do it at Dr. Reynolds” My father the alpha asked curious. “We have a specialized tent used for wars. We use it to perform surgeries on the battle fields. It’s large enough so we can perform multiple surgeries at one time so it should be big enough for her. I have a group putting it up as we speak. Then the equipment that I will need will be loaded I. There and then we should be ready to go” he explained. “Do you know anything about the health of the others that came in before her “ I asked wanting an update. “I’m not

sure exactly. From what I have heard for the most part they are all just dehydrated and malnourished. They are all being fed, vaccinated and medicated with antibiotics just to be safe. We need to figure out where we will house all of them. Those plus the ones from the shop have us very cramped right now “Dr. Reynolds explained. “Can we use the big barn and the other stables that we are currently not using for now until I can get a contractor here tomorrow to come up with something else “ Alpha Lucas asked.

The vet nodded. “That will definitely work. Especially for them to sleep. I’m sure we can work it out with your permission of course Alpha Lucas” the vet answered. “we also have had questions from other pack members wanting to know about adopting the creatures of their own species. Like the panther cubs and were foxes. From what we can tell, like Jade they have list their human part, but they very well may still contain their powers. Until we know for sure it would probably be best not to let them stay in the wild.”

“I don’t see why that would be an issue. It would probably be in their best interest to be raised within the pack territory anyway and if some want to adopt and they are medically released then I would allow it” Alpha Lucas answered the vet.
