I woke up an hour later. Completel pain free and healed. I felt as if nothing had happened and it was all a
nightmare, but the beeping of the machines and four wolves guarding my door told me it was real. “Hey
guys, why so serious” I asked laughing. Then I saw the fifth wolf. Jade was in front of them protecting me
as well as they all turned to face me.Zade and the others shifted immediately ran to my bedside. Jade was trying to jump up in the bed with
me. Zade picked her up and gently placed her on the bed at my feet. She laid down right there and
continued to watch the door. “Hpw are you feeling” Aerie asked me. “Actuqlly never better. Did they
catch the person who laced my dress,: I asked worried. “My father is in the process now of compelling
everyone now. We should have the person responsible within the next little bit. “ Aerie answered I
nodded with understanding. Jade began growling and then there was a soft knock on the door.Before it
opened a voice said “It is Dr. Gray, the Royal physician. Is it safe to enter” he asked. “Yes sir” I called out as
Jade quit growling and laid back down at my feet. “Well how are you feeling Queen Dream” he asked as
he walked in. HE handed Jade a huge dog treat. “Yoy have some of the most ferocious protectors I have
ever seen in My life, especially that one” HE said rubbing Jade’s head. “Yeah, Jade bit two of the other
doctors” Zade told me. Jade whimpered. “Oh no harm was done. They were healed before they even got
out of the room” Dr. Gray said taking up for the pup. He checked me over then he looked at me and
asked “What made you know something was wrong, I’m curious because the way it was done,, you
should have not felt a thing until it reached your muscles and organs. The lidocaine would have
numbed the skin to keep you from feeling anything.” He explained. “I thought it was my mark growing,
the reason it was burning and uncomfortable. My mom linked me to tell to control my emotions because I
was glowing . I told her about the pain and she got up to check. “ I explained. “Well dear, she saved your
life by doing that” he informed me. “I’m sorry doctor, but you said the silver was laced with lidocaine to
prevent her from feeling anything “ Aerie asked curiously. “Yes. There actually was ten times more
lidocaine than silver mixed together “ he answered. “So the one responsible would have to have had
some medical knowledge to know how to do this right,” Aerie asked. The doctor nodded yes. “Most
certainly. Not to mention they would have had to know where to get it” he answered. I watched as
Aerie nodded and was linking someone. “May I leave please Dr. Gray, I still have a wedding to finish and
my mates coronation as king” I explained. “Yes actually I have no reason to keep you here. Your wolf did
an amazing and quick healing of you. You are very blessed with a descendant of Moon's” he informed
me. “So you have seen Moon then” I asked. The doctor laughed. “Oh yes. I have seen that wolf one to
many times. That is for sure. She and Moonbeam. Let’s hope I don’t see Star as often. He said laughing
signing my papers.
My parents and grandparents came in as the doctor was letting me go. “Alpha Lucas, I do believe your
daughter hates this place just as much as you. However she is just as determined to finish what she
starts the same if not more than her mom” he said laughing. My parents looked at me questionable.
“What? There is no way I am prolonging today anymore if I can anyway help it I need to sleep in a day” I
said defending myself. They all laughed, but it was true. “Well if that is what you want to do, you are the
Queen” my father said amiling. “Huh?Oh… yeah I am I guess” I said standing up. Then I realized I was
wearing one of those hosptal gowns. “There is no way you are getting married in that thing” my mother
said objecting. “I’m not so sure about a wedding gown after what just happened.” I answered back. “We
will make sure it is not laced with silver and you will put it on right then. No one else but us will touch
your gown dear” Grandma Rose said. “I don’t care what I wear, someone just please find me something
to put on besides this thing” I said pulling at the hospital gown.
