We rode every ride that they had twice. It was lunch time and I was starving. “I have taken the liberty to have lunch to be prepared for us on the beach as a little celebration of my daughter and her mate” Cornelius announced. I was shocked and surprised by this great unexpected gesture. “Thank you so much. That sounds amazing.’ I answered accepting his offer.

We all went to our rooms to get changed for the beach and for lunch. Cornelius and Aerie met us out front of the hotel overlooking the ocean. As we walked down to the beach, there was a tent with cooks preparing our meals for us. There was a large

table set for all of us plus some extras. I looked at Cornelius questionable. “Oh. Did I forget to mention that we will be having guests for lunch” he asked smiling at me. As he answered, my parents, Nathan’s parents, along with Alpha Jack and Gus and Brian’s parents walked out from behind the tent and workers . We were all shocked to see them. My parents thanked Cornelius for helping them to surprise us and taking care of us before turning to me “Are you surprised and happy to see us, or should we just go

now” My father asked me jokingly. “You better not leave. You just got here" I answered hugging them.

“Don’t worry, Zillow is fine. He has not left Agatha’s side since you left. “ my mother explained as we were all seated for lunch The attention soon turned to Brian and Aerie. “So we hear congratulations is in order for a newly happily mated couple “ my father announced. Brian spoke up “Yes sir Alpha Lucas, this is my mate Aerie. Aerie this is my family” Brian announced smiling and proud as he introduced her to everyone there.

No one could help but to fall in love with Aerie. She fit into our lives so perfectly. She was very easy going and funny. The perfect match for Brian. She and I quickly became friends. She was actually the first real female friend that I had.

At dinner, my father had a special treat in store for us. One that I never could have imagined. Cornelius met with all of us when the time for dinner arrived down in the hotel lobby. He took us to this huge concert hall. We were shocked when one of the top bands and my personal favorite stepped out onto the stage ready to perform for us. I about fell out of my chair.

The evening was filled with dinner, dancing, music and family. I couldn’t have been happier then I was right at

that moment. We all were able to meet the band members and get their autographs along with pictures

and everything. We all had the best time.

After the concert was over, our parents were all fixing to say goodbye. “Please stay. We are going back tomorrow anyway and there is no need for multiple trips. Please,” I begged. Our parents all caved and agreed to stay the night . So our night continued with roller coaster rides, walks on the beach, shopping and then to end the night we all received private massages

in our rooms.

The next morning was busy. We had to get Aerie packed and ready to leave with us. Everyone could tell

Cornelius was having a difficult time letting his only daughter go. My father walked over to him “Cornelius, you do know that you are welcome to come with us and stay at the pack house once again. I could always use you there. We could find a suitable person to run things here for a while. It’s pretty much self sufficient now thanks to you. I’m also sure that you would be very beneficial to have around the palace as well for Dream to get your expertise opinion on different things as well” Cornelius looked at my father. It looked like the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders hearing that. “Are you sure Lucas, I don’t want to impose on anyone, especially if my services are really not needed. If I would be more beneficial to you to stay here then that is what I will do. I am just not certain that I’m really ready for Aerie to be so far away all of the sudden.” Cornelius admitted honestly. “Cornelius, it would actually make my day for you to be back home. Seeing my best friend once a year just isn’t right. Plus it’s about time for the both of us to retire. Matter of fact my retirement starts next week” my father said. I looked at him quickly. “Huh? What did you just say?” I asked shocked not expecting to hear that.
