As we all were eating, Cornelius, the vampire from last night came over to our table. "Aerie what do you think you are doing?" He asked her "I’m sorry father. But I found my mate". "What are you talking about " Cornelius asked, then added "Vampires do not have mates". It was time I thought for me to butt into the conversation. "I’m sorry Cornelius it seems that Brian here has found out that I’m guessing your daughter is in fact his fated mate. Thatt is the mate she that she is referring to" I said as I pointed to Brian, and then added "He is my protector Brian". Cornelius look between Aerie and Brian.

Finally he smiled at Brian and he said "well I guess it’s welcome to our family" Everyone began to relax a lot more after that conversation. Gus and Zade continued to be more quiet than normal." I looked at Aerie "you mean there are more rides than that one?"" Well yeah it is an amusement park' she said laughing "there are tons of more rides than just that one" Aerie answered. "Then what are we waiting for let’s go" "Nathan responded popping up quickly. Everyone followed suit even Cornelius "Do you all mind if I join in on some of the fun while I can" he asked "of course not. We would love to have you Cornelius" I answered him.

Brian, Aerie, Gus, and Zade went running ahead. Nathan Cornelius and myself lagged behind chitchatting. 'So if you do not mind me asking where is Aries mother? I asked Cornelius. She was killed when Aerie was small in a war. Cornelius said looking guilty. Do you mean a war with the werewolves? I asked curious.

Cornelius looked down to the ground and then back up at me. "Yes it was. But you have to remember that in my time werewolves and vampires were always enemies. It was not until that day that I felt different. And that was all thanks to your father. You see my wife was killed by one of our own. They thought they would make it look like a wolf attack but I caught them in the act. Needless to say they lost their life as well that day. As I sat on the ground and held my dead wife your father came walking up to me. He did not show any fear and treated me as an equal. He welcomed me back to his pack house and then to be a member of the pack. Everyone there was kind and gentle nothing like I had heard about in the past. He was able to show me a different version of what it was really like for werewolves. That day I earned a new respect for your kind and a new best friend. After that, they found

Cornelius explained. I didn’t know what to say as I looked at him in all. I knew what he was saying. when you form an opinion about someone different than herself because I was guilty of the same thing and evidently so were the rest of us seeing the way that Gus and Zade had acted towards Aerie. I felt ashamed. Cornelius evidently knew exactly what I was thinking because he was quick to say "do not feel guilty about the way you feel because that is what you were taught. You cannot help but to form an opinion based on the beliefs of those who raised you." He explained. I thought about it and I realized that he was right. Lily had always complained and said vampires were evil and they would be quicker to drain you than to even look at you. I personally didn't have that opinion to say but I did find myself staying away from them as much as possible. And when I was around them I didn’t have much to do with them.

“Come on” Zade shouted. Brian,, Aerie,, Gus and Zade were already climbing in their seats for the next ride as we finally caught up with them. “I am coming” I yelled back laughing at them as I climbed on the ride behind them.
