Alpha Herald spoke up. “She was named Lyrica the day she was born. That night after she was put to
bed, we woke up to the break of her leaving the territory. We searched everywhere for her. This was of
course around the same time that you had disappeared as well. Your parents tried to help, but they
were just as overcome with grief as we were. Nothing was ever found or ever heard until now. But we
never stopped looking. Your brother and sister know about you as well. “ he explained.
“I have a brother ad a sister” Rosie asked halfway smiling as she looked back at Gus. “Yes, your brother
is a year younger than you and your sister just turned sixteen” the Luna answered smiling andpulling a
picture of the two from her bag. “This is Jared and Jasmine” the Luna said showing Roaie the picture.
Her sister was a spitting i.age of her. “Wow, I always wanted a brother and sister” Rosie answered
smiling at her parents.
Micah spoke up. “Alpha James, as you can imagine a lot lays on the line here and this affects a lot of lives
of those directly involved. We have to announce the fact that Rosie is no longer missing, but alive and
well. But this also brings up the question of what have you two done about the line of succession for
the pack? We will have to reinstate her birth rights, however depending on what has been done over
the years may leave room for compromise here. As you all know, being mated to a protector will take
precedence over everything if Rosie accepts her mate bond. She will not be able to take over the pack.
But if she rejects Gus, she will be entitled to receive the pack as the two of you step down” Micah put it
as simply and nicely as he could Rosie looked at them waiting for an answer. “Well we never dreamed
this would ever happen, and over the years, I guess we gave up hope. After Jarrid was born and grew,
we decided that he would become the next Alpha and he has trained as one ever since. However of
Rosie wishes for tor her title granted at birth, then my son has known the chances and the possibility
that she could overtake the pack if she wanted.” Alpha James informed us. Rosie took a deep breath “So
I don’t have to take the pack and be the Alpha? I can accept Gus and no harm will come to the pack if I
do, Am I right,” she asked getting g excited. Now it was my time to relax a moment as this was looking
like it was going to be fine after all.
Alpha James shook his head yes. “The pack is and will always be well taken care of. Your brother does an
exceptional job at his duties in training to be their Alpha. The pack adores him and his mate is my Beta’s
daughter” he explained smiling. Relief washed over his face as well seeing that Rosie was not
interested in taking the pack away from her brother.
I wanted to see my own father now. “Hey Dar” I said casually as I walked into the office Cameron was using and gave him a big hug. “Tough morning” he asked worried. “a bit, but I believe it will be another happy ending “ I said smiling. I looked at the stack of
papers they had been going through. “making any sense out of any of that stuff” I asked. My father
looked up at Cameron and then back at me. “not a lot. What I have, is not good from what I can tell, but
I need to reference some things before I really can say” my dad answered. “so what is it that the two of
you are not telling me?” I asked knowing they were hiding something. “Dream for now can we just
pause this conversation until I do a little more research? I don’t want to worry anyone if it is nothing”
my dad asked pleading. “ok. Just don’t hide something from me, I don’t like that” I explained honestly. .
“Well I will let you two get back to work. I need to see Zade and Dr. Powell. “ I said as I left them to sort
through their mess.
I found Zade and Dr. Powell talking with Brian and Aerie. “Where is Gus” zade asked worried. “He is
with Rosie speaking to her parents. You all can relax a little. I think everything will be ok” I informed
them. “Where is Nathan” I asked. They were supposed to be helping him get the army straight. “He got
a phone call and had to run out. He said he would be back shortly” zade answered. I shrugged my
shoulders. “ok, well what have you two decided” I asked looking at Zade and his mate. “We are going for
it and have accepted the mate bond. And before you ask, yes she knows everything. Aerie Has already
spoken to her.” Zade explained as Aerie nodded agreeing with what he said. “OK great. Now we wait to
see about Rosie and Gus.” I said hoping for the best.
Marcus walked into the room to join us. “What do we have to get done now” he asked. “Well that
depends on what my father and Nathan”s father are up to” I said as I linked them. “Are you two
available to help me with something “ I asked linking both of them. “For you, always” my father
answered. “Well I would like to take the royal army and add them where they should be within your
army. They are much more structured and disciplined then the ones here, and don’t trust them to lead
anything” I answered. “Sure, meet using the training field and have everyone there” my father told me. I
informed Marcus to have the entire army including fathers on the fielding five minutes. Marcus sent the
order out.
All at once it was like a herd of elephants coming through the palace half dressed and still half asleep.
“You have got to be kidding me. Really??” I asked looking at the others in the room. Brian and Zade
started laughing. Aerie and Dr. Powell, well Karen as she asked to be called just shook their heads at me.
We all walked down to the field. Jade needed her exercise and to go to the bathroom anyway, so she
joined us as well. Both fields were full of warriors However you could clearly see which army was which.
My father’s army, well I guess mine now were all dressed as they should be and in straight rows,
standing at attention where the royal army stood around, some in shorts, a couple in boxers even but
not ones them dressed appropriately. My father and Cameron joined us about half way to the field.
When my father saw the ones in their underwear on that field I thought he would have their necks right
then and there
“WHAT THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY ARE WEARING? LADIES ARE Present NOT TO MENTION THE
QUEEN AND MY DAUGHTER” he yelled shaking the ground beneath our feet. This got all of the warriors
attention. Once again you could see clearly the difference as one side bowed as we came to the field ,
while the other field just stared at us. This made me mad. Not so much not bowing to me, but the complete disrespsect they were showing to everyone.
