“We may have a preliminary report in a few hours. The final report may take a few days to be
complete.” Dr. Powell said as she finished up with Rosie. “Thank you Dr. Powell” I told her as she began
To leave.
“I will let you know something as soon as I know. As I explained to Gus, we are going to wait for the
announcement of your mate bond until we get the results, just in case there is an issue” I explained.
Rosie nodded her head. She and Gus walked out as Zade came in carrying my food and letting me know
that the others were ready for the meeting. “Did ypu spray something in here” Zade asked sniffing as he
came over setting my plate on my desk.. I started to eat my food. “I think you are just smelling the food.
This is delicious and I’m starving. Let them all know I’ll be there in just a couple of minutes “ I said as I
stuffed my face and drank my drink. Zade waited for me to finish. “I guess you were right. The smell is
gone now” he said looking A little disappointed.
After I finished my plate, Zade and I walked down to the conference room for the meeting. Nathan,
Marcus, Brian, Aerie, Gus and Rosie were all waiting for me. Everyone bowed as I entered the room.
Zade laughed as I rolled my eyes.
“Good morning everyone. As you are all aware, my pack has joined the palace. This means a lot of
changes and shifts in ranks. You all may not like it or agree with it, but honestly it does not matter to put
it bluntly. A lot of things around here seems to have been let go and slack on which will not be tolerated.
First I want all of you to see the new schemed meal times. If you are not present at the time the food is
served, then you are to wait until the meal is over and then you can fix a sandwich or whatever youwould like. But you will clean up your own mess . Make sure those staff members under you understand
the changes as well. Next, let me make sure ALL of you understand this, you are individually responsible
for cleaning your own rooms with the exception of ranked members. Then housekeeping is to clean the
rooms only assigned to them. There should not be any staff member other than the ones assigned to
that area in there. This is for security reasons and I expect it to be followed strictly. You all are the heads
of your department t for a reason. You are responsible for those under you and your area. If you cannot
handle taking care of your area and seeing g that those under you are completing their assignments,
then I will replace you. If you are I need of supplies, then place the list in my box and I will look over it
and approve it. But any orders of items that are not needed in your department will not be done. My
parents, along with his Beta and Gamma and my grandparents and a few of the elder council members
will be here and will be helping to observe things and how they are ran. If they see any issues they too
will replace you in a matter of seconds. Finally here is a list of times and schedules of training. You all are
required to train every day. Every one of you. No exceptions unless I say so. You must work around
training schedules for those in your department. Now if any of you have any issues with these changes,
then feel free to pack your bags and leave at once. You all are dismissed.” I told them. I waited to hear
the backlash and was ready for it.
“Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning” Nathan asked pulling me into a hug.
“No not at all. Laziness just aggrevates me. Most of them didn’t wake up until right before the meeting.
No wonder things don’t get done and everything has gone unnoticed. Your father is coming over to help
me and Marcus go through the stacks of paperwork that needs to be filled out and signed and to try to
get things somewhat organized. “ I told him as we walked to my office. “Wwll what do you need from
me” he asked sweetly. “I need for you and the guys to go get the warriors straight and divided up and
assigned to whatever area seems to be best for them. Basically put the Royal army in with my fathers
army. The ones leading them can remain in charge if they wish. But I don’t see any of the ones from
here being able to lead a horse to water not to mention an army” I told him shaking my head. It was the
truth. From what I had seen this far everyone around here didn’t care And wanted to do as little as
possible. “OK, I will let the guys know. Link me if you need anything else from me.” He said as he kissed
my cheek and left me to my mess.
