Marcus joined me along with Aerie and Jade. Jade curled up underneath my desk at my feet while I
worked. Beta Cameron knocked on my office door. “come on in” I called out to him. Marcus and Aerie
looked up to see Cornelius had joined Cameron for the visit. “I think I may be ale to help you with the
businesses that you have here if you would like. Your father asked me to come and look over the
portfolios to see what I thought” Cornelius explained. “That would be great Cornelius. I think Aerie has
the stack over there.” I told him.y father had linked me to let me know he was coming, so I had her to
get started on pulling the reports. “What can I do” Cameron asked looking at the mounds of paperwork
“ “Just tell me what is good or not good, and what I need to sign. Some of these things make no sense to
me and I don’t know what it is.” I explained. Cameron began shuffling through the papers. He divided
out the stacks between myself and Marcus. The papers he set on my desk, I signed and put in a tray.
The papers he set aside for Marcus were those that needed to be filled out or looked through more.
As the pile began to get smaller, I watched Cameron’s face change to where he looked confused as well
as to what he was looking at. “Those are the ones I got lost on. It makes no sense” I told him when I saw
the papers he was looking at. Cameron shook his head questionable. “I want to take these back with me
and have your father and grandfather go through them. This is honestly out of my league that I feelcomfortable even touching “ he said looking back over then and making notes. “Are there anymore of
these” he asked looking around. “I’m not sure honestly. I haven’t gotten very far since this is technically
my first day as Queen. “ I answered. “Well you have already gotten through more in one da than
anyone else has in a year it seems. Good work” he told me as he praised all of us. It was time for lunch.
“Why don’t yu and Cornelius join us for lunch. I am anxious to see how my new rules are going to be
followed.” I asked. Cameron looked at me questionable, and then agreed.
We all walked to the dining room. Nathan and the guys met us there along with my fathers pack
members that were there at the palace for training. We all took our seats as Rosie and the other kitchen
workers began to bring the food to the table. I looked around. Only a few staff members were there. I
looked at Zade and Gus “Please shut the doors to the dining area. No one else will be permitted in” I
ordered. Zade and Gus stood up to shut the doors when I received a link from Dr. Powell. “I’m on my
way.. I was waiting for the print out in the preliminary labs you ordered “ she informed me. “Good. We
are in the dining room. We will have you a seat ready” I linked her back. I looked at Zade “Dr. Powell will
be joining us shortly. She may be allowed to enter” I informed him. He nodded his head. “Rosie, can you
set Dr. Powell a place please as well?” I asked her. She smiled and nodded her head.
As the food had finished being brought out, Dr Powell knocked on the dining room doors. Zade stood up
to open the door. When he opened the door, the two of them froze staring at each other. I just started
laughing. “Really? You too Zade,”I asked him. He only nodded still staring at Dr. Powell. Cameron and
Nathan both laughed as they realized what was going on. Aerie started xclapping happily. “Yay” she said
excited. “Dr. Powell, please come in and have a seat. Join us for lunch” u said smiling at her. Zade
escorted her to a seat next to him. I couldn’t help but smile.
“Well, I think the first things first it seems Congratulations is in order, as long as both accept” I
announced looking at the two love birds who were just nodding yes as they kept staring at each other. “I
believe you also have something for me am I right Dr. Powell.?” I asked getting her attention. “Oh yes
mam. I apologize. Yes. This is the lab work you requested. The final results will still be a bit, but I think
the answers you are looking for are right there.” She said passing the papers. “As you can see the labs
are already 100%, definitive so the final values will offer nothing else. This is as clear as it can get” she
explained. I looked at the paper. Then I 97looked up as Rosie and Gus who were eagerly waiting the
results. “If everyone will excuse us for a moment, you all may continue to eat. GUS AND Rosie. Please
come with me.” I said. Rosie looked like she was about to pass out at that moment. “Gus grab her
quickly” I linked him. About that time, sure enough, Rosie blacked out. Gus was about to freak out as she
laid in his arms and Dr. Powell cameo er yo check her. “she is OK Gus. SHE was just anxious and passed
out. Here, watch” she said taking a vial out of her pocket snapping it, and holding it to Rosie’s nose.
Rosie woke up looking confused but OK. Just to be safe, gus decided it would be best to carry her and
Rosie didn’t object.
