“Lilly came to me claiming her name was Lacy. I felt what I thought was the mate bond. It pulled me like the bond was supposed to do. She brought a baby with her, by the name if Jenna. She said she had rescued the child from rogues at birth who were attempting to kill her…” as Alpha Jack said these words, it felt like I could feel lashes hitting me over and over again. It was getting harder and harder to breathe.

“Star I need your help. I don’t know how much longer I can take this pain “ I begged my wolf. I felt her strength in me almost immediately. Alpha Jack had just finished speaking. Then Micah turned to Zade. I could feel the pain in Zade as he began to speak. “ Dream was known to me as Jenna. We grew up together as brother and sister almost. The one that stood in the way was my mother. She hated Jenna more than anything. She would find reasons no matter how small to be able to give her lashed despite

how much anyone of us protested…” Zade continued going into details about the lashes and my injuries.

Every word that he said was like another lash to my body. It felt as 8f my skin was being peeled as I stood there looking at her. My thoughts were interrupted by Elder Micah calling my name. “Dream are you ok. Do you need a break before you begin” I looked at him like he was crazy. How was I supposed to talk with the pain that I was in. It was hard enough just to stand there.

“Channel the pain to your powers and let it build there” Star told me. I took a deep breath and focused on where I wanted the pain to go .

It seemed to be working as the pain was finally tolerable. “I will go now” I answered Elder Micah as I stepped up, I removed the jacket that I had on covering what scars that the cream I was given hadn’t cleared all the way. As I looked down though all of my scars were there. None of them looked to have disappeared at all. “It’s showing them what they were not what they are now” my Grandmother linked me telling me. Lilly. She either lashed me herself or ordered the guards to do so. I was forced to choose between eating what little she would allow me to eat or finishing chores so I would not get lashes. Most of the time I ended up getting the lashes no matter what I decided.. “ I went on to describe everything in detail that I had gone through to everyone there. Now every pack member knew my secrets. When I was finished I looked around and everyone was in tears.

I looked at Lilly who seemed to sit there and enjoy the memories of torturing me. She was smiling ad this made me sick to my stomach and mad as he’ll as looked to the ones she had hurt the most other than me. Zade, Alpha Jack, my parents and my

grandparents. I could feel my blood boiling. “You sit there smiling and enjoying yourself, but look around Lilly at all of those you have hurt besides me. Your own son despises you and has rejected you or have you forgotten. Your real mate has to bare the pain once again as he watches this trial, your own parents and your own twin. You only have cared about yourself and your wants. Well you are done getting anything you want Lilly. I will not let you hurt me or my family ever again. And since I am the rightful heir

to the throne I, along with my pack and my family hereby find you guilty of all the crimes that you have been charged with.. Your punishment will be carried out immediately. Only for the sake of Zade, Alpha Jack, my parents and my grandparents your death will be quick but yet very painful.” I told her as a gust of wind twirled around me. It seemed to suck out all of the pain I was in or had ever had and now it was twirling around me. I pointed my finger to Lilly. The gust of wind formed a small tornado and headed towards her. Within a few seconds the small tornado had her in the middle of it Everyone heard her screams of pain. When the wind died down, Lilly stood there naked, screaming and crying in pain as her skin had been ripped open like mine had been with every lash. Every inch of her body now had lash marks, just as mine had. She crumbled to the ground screaming and begging for someone to help her, but no one stepped towards her to help her . As she looked up at me now it was my turn to smile at her.

She now knew what it felt like to be me all of these years and now I was the one who was finally pain free. I would no longer have to fear her I smiled as she drew her last breath and how she used that last breath to scream out one more time in pain, like she would always wait for that scream to come out of me. I waited for it. When she finally collapsed, and was dead all of the pack members cheered happily. You could see the weight being lifted off of Alpha Jack and Zade as well as Brian and Gus. I know I felt a tremendous relief of not only pain but also sadness, grief and the one that surprised me was guilt. I never realized how guilty she had made me feel until now. I felt guilty because no matter what I did I never satisfied her. Now all of that was gone..
