"ENOUGH! EVERYONE CALM FOWN IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS STILL MY HOSPITAL AND YOU WILL DO AS I SAY! .JENNA SIT DOWN. I KNOW YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OBEY ME, BUT OUT OF RESPECT FOR ME AND MY STAFF, SIT!" I looked around and everyone was sitting except for me. Man that old man is powerful, I thought. So I sat down. He was right. I did owe him and his staff the respect they deserved. "Now Jenna, this may sound wrong to you, but I will assure you that this is not your old Luna. She is still locked in the dungeon that I put her in. This is the Luna of this pack, Luna Penelope". Elder Micah informed me. "How is that possible? She looks just like Luna Lacy" I asked. ZADE even thought it was his own mother, so it wasn't like I was the only one who had thought that. I looked at Gus and Brian for their thoughts on it. Both of them nodded yes as well. The woman stood there, not moving a muscle. I could hear her heart beating. She had tears running down her face, not because she was hurt or sad or even mad. She was extremely happy. Dr. Henry spoke up "Maybe I can help you, Jenna. You see, I received the DNA results back, and remember that tidbit I told you about if anything showed up that could impact this pack, that I would have to notify the Alpha at once", He asked me. I nodded, not sure what my blood had anything to do with why this woman looked just like the Luna from my old pack. I waited for him to get to the point. "Jenna, I called the Alpha and Luna back here immediately as soon as I got your results because something huge showed up in your DNA. Remember me telling you that I had no doubt that you were a gifted wolf, but we couldn't figure out how or why. Then you explained to me that your wolf never submitted to anyone other than you. Well, that got me thinking that you were of very high rank. I was right. Jenna, you are no Omega. Not anywhere close. You are an Alpha's daughter, and not just that. You are also of Royal blood, and it does not stop there. Jenna, you are what we call an original pure blood royal. That means that your blood is that of our true original werewolves. Your blood is the purest blood there is other than the originals themselves. You officially rank higher than everyone in this room" Dr Henry informed me. If I thought I was confused before, well that was nothing on the way I feel now. I didn't know what to say to that except "If I was this great, then why did my parents abandon me and leave me for the rogues to kill, or to be punished by Luna Lacy my entire life. I think your tests are wrong Dr. Henry and maybe you should re-run them" I told him. "I already have Jenna. Three different test with three different machines and all came back with the same answer." I sat there and stared at the doctor. Thoughts raced through my mind, then the words of the moon Goddess echoed over and over. Is this what she was talking about, I thought to myself. I needed to get out of here. It felt like the walls were closing in on me, and it was getting harder and harder for me to breathe. "I have to get out of here" I somewhat whispered and choked the words out to Zade, as I took off running out of the door and out of the hospital. As soon as my feet hit the outside, I let Star take over. She shifted in a split second and was in the woods before anyone could even make it out of the hospital room. Star ran as fast and as hard as she could, letting the wind blow through her fur. It felt so good to the both of us. "Do you smell what I smell, Jenna" Star asked. I sniffed the air through her and I knew immediately what it was. "THE BEACH!" We both said together as she took off towards the smell of the ocean water. As we approached the beach, Star gave me control back. I couldn't wait to feel my feet in the sand. I ran to the beach and I slipped my shoes off. The sand felt so good between my toes. I plopped down to rest and to just look at the ocean waves. It didn't take long for Zade to find me. That damn bond, I thought to myself. "Hey it's not that bad, at least I talked everyone else into staying behind and letting me talk to you for a moment", Zade said, smiling at me and sitting down next to me. "Are you OK" He asked, looking at me. "What do you think Zade? How is it that I am supposed to be this rare-gifted wolf whose parents politely just threw away. I know I can't deny the fact that I am definitely gifted. That is obvious, but why would my parents not want me then, Zade" I asked. ZADE looked at me sadly, trying to come up with some answer that made sense, but he couldn't either. "Maybe if you had stayed around to hear what else the good doctor had to say, maybe you would have found out", the huge tall man that was in my hospital room earlier said as he stepped out of the woods. I didn't realize just how big that man was until he was standing in front of Zade and I. "Maybe if you gave him a chance to explain everything instead of running away after only hearing a part of it, maybe you would have the answers to all of your questions" he finished as he looked down at the both of us. "He has a point Jenna. You ran out before Dr. Henry could finish his sentence", Zade said, agreeing with the man. "Who are you?' I asked the man wanting to know. "My name is Alpha Lucas. I am the Alpha of Blood Hills pack" he answered, introducing himself. "Well, I guess since the rejection didn't go through I kind of have to listen to you, huh?" I asked hoping I could manage not to have to go back. "I would not say you have to, however it would be wise of you too and probably in your best interest " he answered this time smiling.
