Chapter 32

It was a huge incubator that looked like a deep freezer. There were eggs that had just hatched, and some were currently hatching. There were also newborn pups, cubs and some other newborn creatures inside. A couple of them had not survived, but for the most of them they were alive at least.I yelled for a vet to come with warriors. This thing had to be taken out of this building. . I ordered the warriors to start breaking windows or tearing out walls to get some fresh air into there I picked up a newly hatched dragon into my hand. “I need this one for a moment” I told the vet. She must have known what I needed it for because she just nodded handing me a blanket to wrap it in. I took the baby over to the huge dragon that was still being cared for “Look what I have girl” I told the dragon showing her what was inside of the blanket she used her nose to move the blanket the rest of the way exposing the newly hatched dragon. She sniffed it and immediately started moving. “Whoa girl easy before you hurt someone” I told her as my hand found her mark of the moon goddess. Our marks began to glow and so did the new hatchling. I watched as the glow got brighter, both became stronger almost instantly. As the light grew dim I looked down to see the baby nursing from the mother dragon. “I never would have thought I would see this happening” the vet said quietly. !!”Would it be OK to bring her the other hatchlings” I asked the vet. “There is more?’ he asked questionable and surprised. “Yeah, a bunch more” I told him as I linked the other vet to bring the other dragons. . Warriors began to load the animals into the vehicles as the vets and I got them stable enough for transport. We had to get a huge enclosed tractor trailer in for the mother dragon and the babies. She was still to weak to fly or even walk the distance. She loaded in the trailer without any issues after I placed the babies inside. We closed the trailer door as two of the vets climbed in the back with her they were sent to the pack house animal hospital. After I saw the last living creature loaded onto the trucks I had something else to get. I took the envelopes that Maggie had given me and went back inside. I got the necklace from Marcus and found the basement door NOW this looked like a scene from a horror movie. It was dark as I began down the steps. The walls were blood red. I placed my hand onto the Wal to steady myself as I walked down the steps. The walls were wet and sticky. I instantly pulled my hand back only to find that my hands were now red, and it was blood dripping from the walls. Instinctively I screamed. Nathan and zade nearly broke the door down along with tearing out the staircase as they ran to me to see what was wrong. I held up my bloody hands. “Someone get the doctor now!” Nathan yelled to the warriors above them. Zade was checking me over for cuts. “It’s the walls” I said pointing. Zade stopped checking me out as he and Nathan looked at the weird walls. “What in the hell” zade asked out loud as the doctor came running with the warriors. “I’m OK Dr. Henry, I’m not hurt,, just please go back upstairs and help with making certain everyone and all living are out of here” I ordered. The doctor looked at me and nodded before he turned around. “This is creepy” Gus said as he looked around and we went further into the basement When we got to the bottom of the stairs we were literally standing in a pool of blood. “This is to much Dream. Let’s get the witches to handle this” Brian suggested. “Brian if the withes could have handled this I don’t think they would have given the key. They would have taken care of it themselves. “ I explained. Nathan turned on a flashlight so we could see There were dead.carcasses both human and supernatural that had been drained completely. “What in the hell happened down here” Brian asked looking around. We were stepping over bodies, body parts and who only knows what else. Then I saw what I was looking for. Just as it was in my vision the stone hovered above a large book underneath. The stone appeard to be dripping with blood onto the book, but the book appeared to be dry. I pulled the envelopes from my pocket and carefully opened the both of them. I felt a gust of wind and the next thing we knew there were two locked black metal boxes where the stone and book had been. Then a moment later both were gone “ Someone want to tell me what just happened” Nathan asked looking at where the boxes were just at. “I have found it easier not to even bother to ask anymore . Things and people tend to appear and disappear around me all of the time” I explained as Zade and the others agreed. Nathan looked at us like we were all crazy. After the boxes disappeared the basement walls quit oozing blood and were now white. “Weird. Just plain weird” Nathan said as he looked around. “Why couldn’t the dead disappear toi” Gus asked. “I’m not sure, but we need to find the books and logs about the babies and the sooner we do that the better” I answered as we all began to look for the information that we needed. It didn’t take long for us to find exactly what we were looking for. They were all in boxes with the years on the outside of them. We also found all of the contact information on buyers and sellers. We even found price lists of the different creatures. “This is insane. Money must grow on trees for these people to afford to pay for these things” Brian said out loud looking at the list. “That is the thing, they pay these ridiculous prices and then cagé them up like what we found and not feed or water them” I responded packing the lists and contact information up. We got everything that we needed as quickly as we could. “What do we do with this place?” Marcus asked after we had removed everything valuable and all of the evidence that we needed. “Burn it all to the ground” I ordered. Everyone froze and stared at me. “Seriously, burn it all to the ground. This place is nothing but evil. To much innocent blood has been spilled here. To much magical blood. It all must burn” I explained my answer. Marcus nodded as he ordered everyone out of the buildings and the house. After everyone was clear we lit torches and threw them into all of the buildings watching as they all went up in flames. “OK everyone let’s get back to the pack house.. We have a lot of work that still must be done, and I know the vets are all going to need our help. “ I ordered as we all shifted and ran back following the trucks.
