*Miranda’s POV* I looked at the floor, then to Lillian, then back into the dark. What was it... I felt the cold seep into my chest as I stared into nothing. It can’t be seen, it can't be felt... I press my palms to my temples, willing myself to focus. I was running out of time. Can’t be heard, can’t be smelt... “What is it?” Lillian’s voice was barely a whisper as her breath came out in a plume of white condensate. She rubbed her hands over her arms.
