Sixty: Piper Powell     When the woman I believed to be my mother married my father, she was cut off from her family. The Mathesons. They’d been rich, and powerful too. Emma Oswin had been my cousin once removed or some nonsense like that. They were associated with the founding of the city. Lydia Matheson-Powell raised me with my father. The first few years of my life, I never thought there was anything strange about how often I was with my parents.     Or how I was home schooled.     Or how my whole world seemed to revolve around them, and Tanager Inc.     Now that I knew the truth about what had happened, I felt like I needed to talk to them.
