**THIRD PERSON POV** The Luna’s voice cuts through the heavy silence of the corridor. Sharp. Accusing. Mara freezes where she stands just beyond the door to the Alpha’s private quarters. The old wood is cracked, but the voices inside carry clearly. “You’re doing it again.” the Luna hisses. “The same mistake. Protecting them.” The Alpha’s tone is low, steady. “You don’t understand what’s at stake.” “Oh, I understand perfectly.” The Luna snaps back. “You think you can rewrite the past. That you can save them this time. But it will end the same way…with blood.” Mara’s breath catches.
