Everything was silent. Not peaceful. Not calming. A strange, suspended silence that felt like it held its breath around me. When my eyes opened, I did not see Crescent Ridge or the ruined courtyard or the Eclipse sky. I saw only silver. Light stretched around me endlessly, soft and glowing, as if I were floating inside the heart of the moon. The dream-realm. The same place I had visited in visions that always left me breathless.
