We find Kael before he does something he can’t take back. The air around him is thick with power, the kind that makes your wolf press low inside you. He’s pacing the edge of the training field, chest heaving, eyes still bright with silver light. The moonbond hums under my skin like a live wire, pulsing faster with every step he takes. “Kael.” I call quietly. “Stop.” He doesn’t hear me.
