Talon and I ran through the forest without a care in the world. I was in the lead but I had a feeling Talon was deliberately staying just behind me. He was amazed at how much bigger I was than my brothers wolves. I was faster and stronger and he was watching every move I made.
All the way to the lake which is where I stopped to look out at the clear smooth water in front of me, reflecting the beautiful full moon off of it.
Talon’s paw brushed mine, and I felt the familiar spark…the threads of the Moonbond pulsing across my skin. “You always find the quiet spots.” He whispered, grinning through the mind link.
I turned to face Talon and I stood there concentrating for a while before I finally started shifting back.
It was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but Talon shifted back
