I stared at the ceiling for hours.
Nyx fell asleep only after complaining that she wanted to be with Austin.
I attempted to approach and knock on his door to join in, even though I was supposed to be sleeping.
I tossed and turned.
I huffed as I landed back on my side.
I felt movement in my head, and Nyx came close.
“You move too much,” she grumbled.
I groaned.
“I know,” I said. “I haven’t slept. I don’t know why.”
I move up and sit up, moving my legs out of the cover and pulling them up to my chest. I wrap my arms around my knees, hugging them.
“I know why,” she murmured. “But no, you didn’t listen to me.”
