SAGE Sitting in Thomas’s room, we had the Avengers endgame on. Jayden came in a few seconds ago and had taken a place by Thomas on the bed. Thomas had the chef bring popcorn and some other snacks. As much as I love the Avengers, I couldn’t watch the film. My mind kept going over what Austin had asked. We would meet later, in his room or mine, when Thomas and Sara were asleep. Nyx was content in my head, humming to the theme song. A loud alarm echoed around the place, making us all jump out of our seats and look around, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. “Rogues,” Nyx growled. I moved over to the window and looked out. My heart sank as I took in what was going on. Pack members were running toward what looked like a bunker while rogues lined the forest lines, growling.
