Erik “Why do you have a younger version of Lousie as your date?” Eugene whispered as he ushered us inside. Maureen smiled politely as she shrugged off her shawl. I took it from her and hung it up in the closet, as well as my jacket. I shot my brother a warning look as I stepped closer to Maureen and placed my hand on the small of her back. She tensed for a moment before she relaxed. We had talked a bit at my place before Lousie had threatened to remove my balls if I let anything bad happen to her sister. Since I was quite fond of my balls, I had no intention of letting anything happen to her sister. On the drive over here, Maureen had played twenty questions to help us relax.
