Dominic’s face was grim as he surveyed the scattered group, his jaw clenched tight. "We have no chance now," he said, his voice heavy with frustration. "We were outnumbered and not prepared. The rogue wolves are scattered." Raven’s stomach twisted at his words. She hated feeling helpless, hated the fact that Boris had Damien, and they couldn’t do a damn thing about it.
