“I assure you Alpha, I will not use this anything other than possibly with rogues. It might help in getting information from them.” I suggested stepping away from Damien and standing close to my mom. He nodded. “Keep in mind we will be keeping an eye on you to make sure this doesn’t become a problem.” He said. He waited for Damien to reach his side and they left. I looked to my parents who still had a heated look on their faces toward each other. “Dad please don’t be mad at mom it was both our ideas to keep it quite, we wouldn’t know if I was until I tried to use it and I didn’t want everyone to freak out if there was no reason to.” I said He took a step back and it hurt me. All my life of him being my dad he had always acted like a real father. And now he looked at me like he wanted nothing to do with me and he hated me. “But now we do have something to worry about.” He said turning around walking into the kitchen when we heard the door open and we all knew he went for a run. Mom gripped my hand and went to the kitchen to wait for dad to return. I turned to walk to my room. Liam as my heels.

“So do you want to talk about it?” I said as I followed my sister to her room. She shrugged turning in and going to her bed. “Whats there to talk about? Its gonna go around that I can control wolves and everyone in the pact is going to turn on me. Its not hard to hard to understand. I just have to deal with it till I go back to Mexico. She sat on her bed he long black hair piled high in a messy bun. She was in one of my shirts she stole from me and shorts, her normal lunge around the house stuff. She had a slight tan to her skin since we were always out in the sun training. She would burn and go dark while I would burn and go back to being pale. She was on her laptop typing away, probably doing school work. “I don’t think anyone will turn on you. All the warriors have you back and will always have your back. Same with us and the Alpha and his family.” I said sitting down on the foot of bed. She barely looked up at me. She grabbed her phone and tossed it to me. “Look at the messages” I did.
They were filled with the “wolf elite” talking s**t about her ability, telling her to leave, she should kill herself, or the alpha before she kills us all. They are looking for a way to rid her of her wolf. She’ll never be luna. I scrolled and scrolled. I tossed the phone next to her and stood my eyes filled with moisture. “So they have already turned, and it wont be long till they try to force me and mom out. I will finish school and immediately go to Mexico. With me gone I know they will leave mom alone.” She said. “They wont do anything, talking s**t behind a phone is one thing, going to your face is another they wont do. They are scared of you. But how are you not bothered by this? I asked her. She shrugged. “like you said behind the safety of a phone is one thing coming to me is another and also I could easily put them on their back in a heart beat, (she looked up at me) of course half of them are already on their backs most of the time.” She laughed it off like it was nothing. I smiled at her.
“We still going to the bon fire?” “Of course. I got a date with Evan to kick yours and Damiens ass at beer pong.” “Heard you also have a date with Damien to go over some things.” I crossed my arms over my chest and raised an eyebrow at her. She looked up from her phone and back down to keep typing. “Explain.” She sighed. “He keeps talking about mates and the pull and how he feels it with me but I don’t feel anything. Yesterday when I was restocking the beer we kissed and I felt some sparks but again, Im leaving for Mexico. I have to follow the tribe down there.” My jaw dropped. “He’s mated to you?” She shrugged. “I don’t know” “You cant reject him, you could kill your wolf or his.” “My wolf has never acknowledge him as a mate. My warrior wont feel that either. I’m pretty sure I don’t have a mate and I will just be with a warrior from the tribe.” “Think it through before you do anything rash.” She nodded. “What time do you want to leave?” I looked at my phone. “Like 2 hours. The sun will be down”
