Vanessa
Training went as always, except today was harder. I was paired with Damien and as always it was quite between us. Every time he would try to speak about “us” I’d counter an attack or force an attack. We were catching our breathe. “why wont you just talk to me Vanessa? All I want is to understand.” He said. I nodded. “Fine bonfire tonight we will talk, ill explain and answer any questions. Can we continue though? You know how important this is to me.” His smiled killed me, now he looked ready to have fun. He came at me full force and it surprised me. Some how he was able to get me flipped and on my back. He still had his hand on my throat. His canines were out, his eyes wild and black. His wolf had breached the surface. “Remember mate, Im still an alpha.” “You forgot one thing wolf.” I said as he squeeze got tighter on my throat. “What’s that?” He said as the growl got louder. I squeezed my eyes shut and forced my warrior to come forward. “I’m from the wolf gods.” I brought my foot up and kicked the back of his head. He went flying over me and landed as he shifted. I got up and everyone could see this was bad. Liam and dad came running forward to help and I placed my hand up.
“I can handle the pup.” My warrior said. Damien was snarling and snapping, barking. He ears back, lips pulled up, ridge standing up. I got low to be his eye level. He ran at me and stopped 3 feet from me. I placed my hand up and as I lowered it as you would tell a dog to sit. He did slowly, ridge lowered, ears perked up and as you could tell he was fighting himself. He lowered his lips and just sat there. His eyes were still narrowed at me. I slowly walked over to him feeling my warrior still in control. She spoke to him is Aztec. Damien shifted back to his human form. His dad walked slowly to us as our eyes were still locked and gave him shorts to put on. We both stood. “Good job warrior, you have the power of the wolf gods.” I heard my warrior in my head say and my wolf followed in a hollow so loud I clamped my hands over my ears breaking eye contact. The alpha my dad and brother rushed to me and I fell to the ground. “Liam call your mother we need her.” My dad picked me and carried me to the truck, I looked behind him and saw everyone looking towards me. “I guess I have some explaining to do.” I said still holding my head. “Yes you do.” I heard faintly as I fell into a darkness.
