I always looked forward to training it was the time I was connect to my warrior and not my wolf as much. She breathed life into and made my movement of attack and defense flawless. She always stood proud and strong in my head. I was the granddaughter of a chief and with mother being mated to a wolf she was never able to step up and accept the chief position. Her younger brother did. He was a natural born leader. Being there in my families land I felt like belonged. Here with the Wolves I didn’t. There was a diverse group but I was unfortunately the besides my mother the only one from a latino blood line. She raised me to speak Spanish fully and understand the holidays for the culture. I knew I was fated to go back to the tribe and marry a high warrior and continue the strong blood line and let the wolf die out. I loved my wolf don’t get me wrong she was sassy and full of attitude just like me and got along great with the warrior. I just always felt closer to my warrior. My step brother would stay here and be Beta like my step father, He was of course best friend with the future alpha. Damien. He always stared at me. I would catch him staring out of the corner of my eyes, only once every blue moon locking eyes with his by accident. Theres been times ive been trying to sleep and hes opened my door to my room while staying the night with the boys. I neve told my brother, he never crossed into my room. He had enough she wolves following him around, drooling after him that he didn’t need me. I was determined to keep away from wolves. I was friends with them but, enough to be friendly. The ones I was closed to was Liam and Evan. Evan was like the little brother I would never have. He was so stupid it was cute. I would protect that boy with my life.

After training I climbed into my truck and took off Friday training was always my favorite, I’d see my dad and brother at home and the boys would being going after dinner to hangout with him and do whatever they do. Which means I would see Damien again. Great I said to myself
