Chapter 1

I was watched as my wolf warriors tried to take down this one she wolf, she kept dodging and taking them out. All while looking like she wasn’t even breaking a sweat and made it look easy. The she wolves in our pack usually just leaned the basics to protect themselves. This wolf on the other hand trained with us. She was only a half breed. My betas step sister. She wasn’t meant to be a wolf as her mom states. She was from a hidden Aztec warrior tribe. We used them when rogues or Hunters become a problem. My Father the current Alpha used them 18 years ago for a hunter problem. He mom was patrolling when a rogue caught her scent and raped her. She fell pregnant with her daughter. My fathers Beta’s mate died in child birth and ended up finding a second chance mate with his warrior.           I watched as all the warrior closed in on her and she backed up slowly as the took steps toward her. She was calm and looked at each one waiting for the first. They try this every time and it fails every time. “Enough” My father shouted. “Good job. Maybe one day some one will be able to take her down.” He smiled. Liam my beta was clapping for his sister right next to me. So was her father she jogged to him and gave him a hug. She knew it was a step father but you would never guess. “Lets get some water I clapped my Beta on the back and went to the cooler. “Hi Damien” Megan my gammas sister said to me batting her eyelashes. “Hi megan” I said back as she handed us all water and sandwiches from the cooler. She sat next her brother staring at me. “Does Vanessa ever date?” I asked Liam. He smiled and shook his head. Not wolves but humans in the town close by. “Why?” He shrugged, “She’s convinced that after she graduates her grandfather will have her move back to her tribe and marry another warrior.” I froze slightly. I watched her as she worked on some forms with her dad.           Her skill was unmatched she picked up fighting, weapons, new techniques really fast. That was her warrior side. She was different though. She hung around with everyone at school, the warriors, jocks, omegas. The only ones she didn’t was the snotty high ranked she wolves. But they didn’t mess with her, she was quick to standup for those they bullied and even got suspended for fighting. I was slightly Jealous, alpha, beta and gamma were supposed to be the most popular but it was for certain Vanessa was. She would walk through the halls, everyone saying hi to her as she said it back smiling. But the biggest thing…she wasn’t phased by me. All the other she wolves would swoon and fall at me feet but she looked right past me.           She started walking over to us and Liam looked up smiling and patted his knee. She sat on the ground resting her back on his knee. Legs out stretched she pulled her torse close to them stretching. Megan gave her water and a sandwich too. “oh thank you Megan. I could have got it though.” She said smiling at her. “no problem I don’t mind.” “You coming to the bonfire party this weekend?” I asked her. She nodded looking at her phone. She wont even look at me. “I think me and vanessa are going to run the beer pong table again.” Evan my gamma said. She looked up at him and smiled. “Yea if you don’t get wasted again and knock the cups over.” I turned to look at him and he paled. “That wasn’t 100 % my fault.” She raised her eyebrows. Before she could say anything I spoke up. “Then who else is to blame?” “The drinks” he said I laughed and looked back at her and she was laughing very hard. So was Liam. “Alraight Evan ill be your partner again.” She said and they air fived. “Liam. Partners? See if we can ruin their streak.” I said to my beta. “sure thing, anything to be able to beat my little sister at something.” She never looked up she just her hand up and pinch the side of his thigh making him say ouch and swat her hand. “Youre forgetting something boys. Beer bong is about how gently you toss the ball, your big muscles put you at a disadvantage.” That was the only time she looked at me. Goddess she was beautiful. She stood and walked away getting in her truck and driving home. “Dude why does she hate me?” I asked Liam.
