Ares stares at Shemar, "Hey, doesn't he look familiar?” and points at him. "Damn, I've seen him somewhere before."
“Nope, all I see is a dead man.” Atlas sniffed in Shemar’s direction, “rogue. A rogue touched our damn mate.”
“Isn't that a b***h. A f*****g rogue. Oh hell no.” Apollo was breathing hard and arguing with his wolf, Dolf.
Duko has been yelling at Atlas because he wants his mate. Now, Dolphus Ares’s wolf is calling him a wimp and yelling he can’t believe he and his two dumb brothers rejected their mate, and he doesn’t care if she’s human.
The triplets start walking behind Shemar and the man until their father contacts them through their link to get their tails to Ilio Hihiu right now.
“His ass is lucky." Apollo points to him, "I agree with Area his ass does look familiar.”
Atlas still doesn't recognize Shemar and keeps repeating that all he sees is a dead-ass rogue, and he’s not wasting any time trying to figure out where or how he knows the bastard that touched their mate.
Shemar turns and looks at Apollo, Ares, and Atlas. He shakes his head, smirks, and winks.

Namakaeha announced yesterday to the pack that Silver Fang warriors Alpha, Luna, and the three future Alphas will be there for several months to train. All the members were shocked as hell and were disappointed that the pack was Silver Fang. The triplets had also left their mark on the members. Because the three future Alphas got away with playing dirty tricks on the younger children. The members never reported it to Alpha Namkaeha or Luna Shiloh.
Alika is telling his mate Moon about the triplets' immature behavior. Some of the crazy trips they pulled on members were harmful. Atlas, Ares, and Apollo's parents didn't believe their sons would harm anyone. Especially their mother, I don't believe my mother liked her either. Mother said the Luna was materialistic and would probably sell her soul to gain wealth. As for Alpha Bronte, he's laid back and tries to keep his sons on the right path. Which I believe is a waste of time."
“So, I should also watch my back when it comes to Luna Ginerra.” Moon nods, “Got it. It seems some of our guests have arrived. Anything else I should know?"
He kisses her forehead, “That pretty much sums it up. If we’re lucky Kaimana and Electra will kill their conning ass before midnight.” Alika takes her hand and walks over to stand beside his father to greet Alpha Bronte and Luna Ginerra. He's looking around for Atlas, Ares, and Apollo, once he doesn't see them he smirks and thought, "Maybe the rogues killed their asses. If I do, I owe them a drink."
Moon chuckles, looking at Alessio walking their way. He’s Kaimana’s best friend and Beta.
Alessio was on vacation with his parents the last time the Silver Fang pack visited. So, he hasn’t had a chance to meet the Alpha, Luna, and the triplets. But he knows from what Kaimana told him, he’ll have to watch and stand his ground with them. She also told him they don’t have any special privileges due to their titles. Alessio stops walking and frowns while communicating with Kaimana, she's telling him about the rejection of the Isaia triplets and the man she met on the way out of the mall. “Fools. They’ll regret that rejection bullshit,” he mumbles.
Namakaeha's looking for Kaimana to be back from the mall to meet with Bronte and Ginerre, but she informed him that she’d see them at dinner. She’s in her living quarters and wants some alone time. Namakaeha knew his daughter was avoiding the three troublemakers. If Bronte hadn’t called in that favor, he would have refused his pack. After introducing Alpha Bronte and Luna Ginerre to the pack, Namakaeha leads them inside the house.
Bronte keeps looking at his watch and the hallway for his sons. It’s ten minutes to six, and he has already warned them that dinner is at six and not to be late. Then it comes to him about the statement Namakaeha made about the Alpha doesn’t like it when someone is late for dinner. He glances at his mate.
She shakes her head, also wondering why their sons haven’t arrived. Ginerra notices that her mate is about to explode and decides to spark up a conversation to take his mind off their three sons' tardiness. “Namakaeha, Alika has grown into a handsome young man and has already found his mate. Moon seems to be a lovely young lady. Bronte and I can’t wait for our sons to find their mates. By the way, where is your daughter?” She glances at the clock on the wall, which shows it’s 5:53.
Kaimana is in her living quarters and should be down any minute now. Yes, Moon is a lovely young lady.” Namakaeha looked at Ares, Apollo, and Atlas entering the room. “Young men, it’s a good thing you three are here. If you weren’t on time, you would all end up in major trouble.”
The triplets look at him confused and wonder what kind of punishment is there for being late to dinner, then they start sniffing and shaking their heads, looking at each other. Ares noticed the way their father was staring at them. “We’re sorry it took us longer than expected.”
“Yeah, right.” Apollo snarls, then sniffs again. He looks at his brother, who’s also stiffing. Then the three communicate with each other, "Why is their human mate there?"
Bronte is about to ask his sons why they are acting weirder than usual. When he sees that their attention is on the beautiful young woman walking up the hall. He chuckles, thinking, “I don’t know who she is. But one damn thing for sure I know that she’s, their mate. It's about damn time.”
Kaimana enters the room, speaks to everyone, and ignores her three ex-mates, still sniffing and looking at her goofy.
“Well, young lady, I must say you've grown into a beautiful woman.” Ginerre looked at her, thinking, “Oh yes, she’ll be a wonderful mate for my sons. Not to mention she’s wealthy.” She walks over to Kaimana,” Yes, you’re beautiful. Don't you all think so, Apollo, Atlas, and Ares? Do you remember them?"
“Thank you, and yes, I remember them. And we had a nice chat at the mall.” Kaimana cut her eyes at the three men, Alessio, Alika, and Moon. They’re trying to hold their laughter in, looking at the three men sniffing, staring, and lusting at Kaimana as if she’s their last meal.
“What in the hell is wrong with your sons?” Namakaeha had been observing their lustful grin toward his daughter and wasn’t thrilled about it. And he hopes what he's thinking is wrong as hell.
Ginerre and Bronte are grinning, looking at their sons.
Kaimana doesn’t want her father to know that Ares, Apollo, and Atlas were her mates or that they rejected her. She wants to tell him the details tomorrow. Right now, she wants to get through this dinner so she can leave to spend time with Shemar.
Alessio looked around the quiet room and saw the irritated expression Kaiamana had, and thought she needed a break. “Kai I was looking for you earlier, we’re going to the theater at midnight. We wanted to know if you wanted to come.”
"That sounds good, but I have other plans tonight. Plans that I don’t want to cancel.” She walks beside him and sits down, then touches his hand.
“Don’t tell me my sister has a date.” Alika laughs.
“Yes, and that’s all I’m saying for now.” Kaimana smiles while thinking about the handsome Shemar Iwalani.
“Oh, really, I was beginning to believe Alessio was your boyfriend.” Bronte also noticed how close she and looking at Kaimana and Alessio seemed to be.
“Shiloh and I had always thought they were mates, but the Moon Goddess had other ideas. Who knows anything can change and make that possible?” Namakaeha pats Alessio’s shoulder. “I’m not giving up on that idea.”
“MINE MINE, MINE” came from the other side of the room.
Everyone except for Bronte, Ginerre, Alessio, and Kaimana's head snaps looking at the three angry men.
Kaimana exhales, “I’m not either one of yours. Nope, not in this lifetime. To be honest, I hope not in any lifetime."
Her father looked at her, confused and happy about the statement she had made. “Sweetie,, are they your mates?”
“No father,” Kaimana walked beside her father and lay her head on his shoulder. “ They rejected me.” She smiled, looking at Bronte and Ginerre, yelling, “They did what? Our sons? The triplets ?” Both are pointing between Apollo, Area, and Atlas, but it’s looking at Kaimana.
Moon leans close to Alika. "You didn’t say they have more monsters.”
He kisses her forehead, “They don’t, Kitten."
“Woo, that’s good to hear. Those three are going to cause trouble,” Moon mumbles, looking at the huge grin on Kaimana's face.
Kaimana turned to look at her father. “Atlas, Ares, and Apollo rejected me in the middle of the mall and then turned into stalkers. "Before anyone asks, yes, I gladly accepted their rejections and quickly as hell.” She claps twice. “ Now that's settled, let's enjoy our meal. Father, I'll be out late tonight."
Atlas narrowed his eyes, “Are you planning on wearing a pair of those sheer panties and bra you purchased today for that asshole that was holding you in the mall?”
Kaimana points at him, “Damn, you just put all my business out there for everyone to know."
“Answer him, Kaimana,” Ares commanded her with a stern look.
She chuckles and points at Ares, “Did you just try to Alpha command me? It doesn't work on me.”
Alika folded his arms. “Now, how do you three know what my sister bought?"
Kaimana looks at the triplets. “I got this on. Let’s see after they rejected me. They followed me around and became three of Victoria's Secret mannequins.”
Her brother, father, Moon, and Alessio laugh.
Bronte shakes his head, looking at his three sons. He couldn’t believe they rejected his friend’s daughter.
Ginerre is furious with her sons and plans to have a long talk with them. But she tries to maintain her demeanor. “Kaimana, you have changed some things in the house since our last visit.”
Kaimana tells her thanks to Alessio’s help everything came out as she had hoped. She told him what I wanted, and he made it happen.”
“Oh, so Alessio, do you live here or in one of the pack houses in the back?” Bronte's looking at some pictures of Kaimana and Alessio at the beach.
Alessio smirks. “Yes, I live here in the main house and in the same living quarters that Kaimana does.”
Bronte looked at his three furious sons and hated that he had brought up the living arrangement.
Ares, Atlas, and Apollo are looking at everyone walking behind Kaimana as they’re discussing how to kill Alessio.

Shemar returns home, but can’t stop thinking about Kaimana. He pours himself a glass of Brandy. “I’m sure she knows I’m a rogue.” He rubs his chin. Then his mind goes to the triplets and where he has seen them before. “Why would any man in his right mind reject such a beautiful woman? Hell, I knew she was an Alpha the moment the slight scent of peppermint hit me. Once I think about it, the scent left just as quickly as it came. Which I find strange. I don’t care what Kaimana Momoa is. All I know is that until now, I’ve never believed in love at first sight.
“Son, who has your nose wide open?” A 6’1 bi-racial man enters the den.
“Wide open is an understatement,” he chuckles. “What are you doing here?”
His father sits down, "I'm only passing through. I was checking to see what my brother was up to after hearing.” He stops in the middle of the sentence, “That’s not important. Now tell me about this woman you have fallen for.”
“I prefer to keep my love life private. Don’t stay here too long. I’m sure you didn’t stop by here on your way back to wherever you came from out of love. What do you want?” Shemar looks at his father opening a beer.
“Since you brought the subject up. There may be a war coming, and I was hoping you would fight beside me.” The man cut his eyes at his son.
“No can-do, father. I've never been the type to fight unless someone comes after me. That’s the reason I live in neutral territory. I told you that the last battle was the last one that I’ll fight with you. I don’t believe in your principles, and nor do I care to listen to your lies. So you can leave now.” Shemar texts someone, and before he can put his cell phone in his pocket, the door opens, and four men enter the room. He points to his father, “They’ll show you out.”
"So you’re going to throw me out of your house? I’m your damn father. You’re no better than me.” The man yells, looking at the four men reaching for him.
Shemar sits down, "That's where you're wrong. I'm better than you. I don't believe in killing women, children, and innocent people to get what I want. I work my ass off to get what I want, and I aim to keep. Get his ass out of here. Make sure he doesn't make his way back in here."
His father shakes his head, “No need to show me out. I walked in on my own, and I can leave on my own. Son, we’ll see each other soon.” He walks out of the living room with the four men walking in behind him.
"Son my ass. If you come back here to make trouble I'll make sure your ass doesn't leave." Shemar taps the arm of the chair.
