I know I will have to tell Keith the truth someday but that day isn't today. This isn't me being vindictive or anything but this is me being a mother who knows what's best for her son because Keith is still so young for what he has had to deal with and he just needs some time to grow and get to know Griffin enough to want to consider him his father.
Up until now the only definition of a father that he knows is somebody who is abusive and he has to understand that not all fathers are like that But the only way for him to do that is for Griffin to show up for him without expectations.
