Raden arrived within ten minutes after the call. What he saw was a gloomy Elinor leaning against a wall, kicking a lonely pebble.
"It didn't go well?" Raden asked when he reached her. Elinor shook her head without looking up. With a few steps she was within arms' distance. She pushed his hands away and hugged him.
It was unreasonable for her to feel sad. After so many years, she shouldn't be giving into those lost emotions. Broken relations were not work crying over. But she couldn't stop that tight feeling in her heart. It was annoying.
"It's alright. If you don't want to see her, then there is no need to. She's not important."
Raden comforted her a little and it actually seemed to work. When Elinor felt a little better, she followed Raden back home and took a long shower to ease
