“KALEA ASTRID MORRISON!” Someone shouted at the top of their lungs when she and Eddie walked into the castle. She snapped her head toward the voice and saw a fuming Tobias.
“Yes?” She was confused as to why he looked so angry.
“Where the hell have you been!?” Tobias growled.
“I went to the airport to pick up, Eddie?” Kalea answered, still confused as to why Tobias looked as if he wanted to strangle her.
“Is there a reason you didn’t tell me you were leaving the castle?”
“I did tell you,” Kalea replied.
“You did no such thing.”
“Yes, I did, Dad!” Kalea said incredulously. “I sent you a text when I left.”
“You what?” Tobias fished out his phone and saw that he indeed did have an unread text from Kalea. “Oh. Well, you shouldn’t have gone alone!”
