MIRANDA’S POV
“You closed the shop late today.” Ms. Caroline said in an accusatory tone and I wasn’t sure if she was asking me a question as to why I arrived late or she was simply being concerned.
“I was With William,” I said in an attempt to feed her curiosity, she was not going to let it go until I told her and I could see I was right by the look on her face.
“Oh I see you listened to me and gave him a chance,” she said and I couldn’t help but blush, even though nothing was official between me and William. I was still willing to try with him.
“I think I should go to bed now,” I said trying to escape
“Yes it’s getting late but sit down here and I would like to talk to you,” she said patting the empty space on the couch next to her and I immediately sat down thinking it was something
