MIRANDA’S POV
I woke up the next day feeling a little refreshed, even after I had spent half the night thinking about the suggestion that Ms. Caroline had made the previous night. I wondered if I was at all capable of befriending William and if I would be capable of trusting him after what happened with Tomas. But that was just it, I had to remember that William wasn’t Tomas, and thankfully so.
But I had to be careful with the kind of ideas that I entertained especially with Tomas thinking that he had some kind of claim over me after the way he treated me. The last thing I needed and the last thing that this little community of humans needed was two wolves turning their town into a battleground and fighting over me. Not to mention they would expose me and how I have deceived Ms. Caroline
