I had been getting impatient waiting for William to deliver Miranda into my arms again. It had been a week since my father called him and I was curious and anxious to find out what the holdup was. I couldn’t ask my father if he had spoken to William because he seemed to be angry with me for some reason.
I also got the feeling that my father was keeping something from me, after he called William to confront him about his feelings for Miranda he had been acting funny.
