Sirens blazed in the distance; chaos reigned in the corridors. Everything was happening too quickly. The sounds of people crying, talking, consoling each other, arguing—all muffled into something incomprehensible to Nessa's ears. She still had the white paper snatched in her hand. Jordan hadn't moved from her side but Niall was moving around as cops and elders from the pack started arriving at the location. Her mind couldn't register what it was that he was trying to do but she assured herself that he was helping in some way. The buzzing noise in her ears had returned. "Nessa? Hey?"
